Leagues, Tournaments, & More!
State Qualifying Tournaments
All games are played locally, here in St. Joseph, MO. The tournament format will vary, depending on the number of teams registered in each division.

All MO Family Sports Basketball Tournaments are official Qualifiers for the 2024 Missouri Middle School Basketball Championship, excluding the City Tournament.
The State Tournament is to be held in Columbia at the University of Missouri and Jefferson City. The Top 2 teams in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout Missouri.

Basketball Leagues
The 1st basketball league of the season - Fall Basketball! After a few months of being outside, we are ready to get back in the gym! Sign up as an individual or bring your friends and sign up as a team! PreK to 6th grade, boys and girls, divisions are available. This league is great for those players and teams who are wanting to learn and get more experience playing the sport. We also welcome and encourage the more skilled players and teams to join!

The Winter School Basketball League - something we deeply enjoy! This league for you and your classmates. The purpose behind this league is to get kids back to playing organized sports with kids from their class and to represent their school! Team and individual registrations are available for this league, as well. PreK to 6th grade, boys and girls, division are available. We strongly encourage you to put together a team of kids from your school! Following the end of the season, you'll have the opportunity to compete in the City Tournament for the 'City Champs' title! Win the title and receive a banner to sign and hang up in your school!

Basketball is back! Join us for the some off-season hoops. Like the Fall League, this league is great for the first timers and beginners. This league is also great for the seasoned vet who's looking for some off-season hoops. You have the option to sign up as a team or an individual. PreK to 6th grade, boys and girls, divisions are available.

MO Family Sports is owned by Ky Turner. Day to day operations are performed by the Program Director, Camdyn Rucker. We believe it is important to provide safe, organized, fun, and athletic events for the youth in this area to stay active and healthy.
