You asked, we listened! New this year, we have added the Mini Mustangs Training League for children ages 2-3, in addition to the Mini Mustangs T Ball League, which features 4U and 6U divisions! Read below to get all of the info and see what option is best for your family!

MINI MUSTANGS TRAINING LEAGUE
Register your mini ball players to learn more about the games of baseball and softball!
This is a TRAINING LEAGUE for the young, aspiring baseball and softball players, ages 2 and 3.
The league is 6 weeks long, with no games during Memorial Day Weekend. The first 3 weeks will be dedicated to teaching basic fundamentals to the players. The last 3 weeks will be used for playing games. Teams are guaranteed 3 games in this league.

Registration
Registration will close 3/31/24. The Mini Mustangs Training League will be available to players 2 years old and 3 years old. This is great way to introduce your child to baseball or softball!
It will run April 21st-June 9th, with no games on Memorial Day Weekend.
The league registration fee is $60 and also includes a shirt for your player.
Individual registration is available. If you would like your player to play with a friend or for a certain coach, please include the name of the friend or coach in the notes section of the registration.
For registering in our league, all players will receive 2 free GA tickets to a Mustangs game on June 20th and will be invited to be honored and introduced on the field before a Mustangs home game. The players will also be invited to run the bases following the game.
Games
All games will be played at Phil Welch Stadium on Sunday afternoons.
This is a TEACHING league. As such, the league will be split up into 2 parts. The first 3 weeks will be dedicated to teaching players the fundamentals via fun and entertaining drills and games. The last 3 weeks will be used to allow the players to play in a game to show what they have learned. We will be including Walk Up Music and introductions for players, mascot appearances, and other fun, so that players can learn all aspects of the game, as well as have fun and enjoy the experience. All players will receive a medal at the conclusion of the league.

League registration is $75, and also includes a shirt for your player, as well as a free hot dog at the concession stand after every game!

Team AND individual registration is available. If you register as a team, please include all of your players. If you have to make a change- whether an addition or removal of a player- please notify us via email.

This is a TEACHING league. As such, we will be including a pregame National Anthem, Walk Up Music and introductions for players, a 7th inning stretch, mascot appearances, and other fun, so that players can learn all aspects of the game, as well as have fun and enjoy the experience.

Want to start a team, but don't have enough players for a full team? No problem! Just sign up the children you do have, and we will add players to your team. Teams can be coed.
Max of 10 players per team- instead of 3 outs, the entire team will bat in an inning. This just helps to ensure a timely game for both teams and their families. 4U games will go through 2 innings, 6U games will go 3 innings. We found this is about the perfect length to keep the children engaged and to have fun.
Max of 5 coaches on the field, 3 on the infield.
In the case of inclement weather, all postponements will be shared on the MO Family Sports Facebook page.
If you sign up as an individual- we will have a meeting at Phil Welch Stadium. You'll meet your coach, and we'll be on hand to answer any questions you may have. The meeting is scheduled for 4/7, at 6pm tentatively.
Practice time is not included- unfortunately, Phil Welch is unable to host practices, as the stadium also hosts high school baseball games on an irregular schedule.
All games will be played on a grass infield.
